3M PICC/CVC Securement Device with Tegaderm Dressing
A sutureless catheter securement device paired with an IV advanced dressing, used to secure and protect PICC and CVC insertion sites.
The 3M PICC/CVC Securement Device with Tegaderm Advanced Dressing is a vascular access product combining an adhesive catheter securement device with a Tegaderm IV advanced securement dressing in a single kit. Nursing and vascular access teams use it to hold peripherally inserted central catheters and central venous catheters firmly in position without sutures, reducing the discomfort, needlestick risk and infection concerns associated with suture-based securement methods.
The included dressing then covers and protects the insertion site while still allowing visual monitoring where the dressing is transparent, supporting infection prevention protocols for patients with an indwelling central line. Together, the securement device and dressing aim to reduce the clinical, financial and emotional costs associated with PICC and CVC complications, including accidental dislodgement and needlestick injuries to staff.
This is a single-use kit intended to be applied once per catheter placement and changed according to the facility's dressing change protocol.
