3M Garant Intraoral Tips for Bite Registration
Disposable intraoral tips for 1:1 and 2:1 cartridge dispensers, used for accurate intraoral dispensing of bite registration material at chairside.
The 3M Garant Intraoral Tips are disposable dispensing tips designed for use with 1:1 and 2:1 cartridge dispenser systems when applying bite registration material directly inside the patient's mouth. Bite registration is a routine step in restorative and prosthetic dental work, used to record how the upper and lower teeth meet so that crowns, bridges or other appliances can be fabricated with an accurate bite relationship.
Because the tip mixes and directs the material as it is dispensed, using a fresh tip for each application helps ensure consistent mixing and prevents cross contamination between patients or between separate uses of the cartridge dispenser. These disposable tips are supplied to fit standard 1:1 and 2:1 cartridge ratios, matching the common dispenser formats used across general dental practice.
They are used routinely by dentists and dental assistants during crown and bridge work, occlusal analysis and other procedures that require an accurate bite registration, in general dental clinics, prosthodontic practices and dental laboratories supporting chairside procedures.
